SE2ND research

SE2ND aims at providing an on-chip source of pairs of entangled electrons based on hybrid superconductor nanostructures. For this purpose we develop techniques to couple metallic contacts to nanostructures that allow us to control the electron-electron interactions and thus the splitting of Cooper pairs. SE2ND is structures into the following work packages:

1. Materials for the electron pair source
2. Realization of Cooper pair splitters in different material systems
3. Evaluation of splitting efficiency
4. Entanglement detection and evaluation
